چکیده
Intelligent reflective surface (IRS) technology is emerging as a promising performance enhancement technique for next-generation wireless networks. Hence, we investigate the physical layer security of downlink in IRS-aided non-orthogonal multiple access networks presence an eavesdropper, where IRS deployed enhancing quality by assisting cell-edge user to communicate with base station. To characterize network's performance, expected value new channel statistics derived reflected links case Nakagami- $m$ fading. Furthermore, proposed network evaluated both terms secrecy outage probability (SOP) and average capacity (ASC). The closed-form expressions SOP ASC are derived. We also study impact various parameters on overall considered. obtain further insights, diversity orders high signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) slopes obtained. finally show that: 1) expectation gain determined number elements fading parameters; 2) If parameter no less than 2, User 1 2 becomes unity, when tends infinity; 3) affected parameters, whereas high-SNR not these parameters. Our Monte-Carlo simulations perfectly demonstrate analytical results.

Physical Layer Security in Wireless Communication Networks
Physical layer (PHY) security has become an emerging area of research recently. Wireless networks use unguided medium as communication channels, so gathering wireless data transmission is easier when compared to traditional cable systems. With the rise of new security challenges, many different solutions have been offered and are being developed. However, maintaining security in wireless networ...
متن کاملPhysical layer security in broadcast networks
This paper reviews the information theoretic characterization of security in broadcast channels, in which a transmitter has both public and confidential messages intended for multiple receivers. All messages must be successfully received by their intended receivers, and the confidential messages must be kept as secret as possible from non-intended recipients. Various scenarios are considered in...

Caching popular contents is a promising way to offload the mobile data traffic in wireless networks, but so far the potential advantage of caching in improving physical layer security (PLS) is rarely considered. In this paper, we contribute to the design and theoretical understanding of exploiting the caching ability of users to improve the PLS in a wireless heterogeneous network (HetNet). In s...
متن کاملBuffer-Aided Relay Selection Algorithms for Physical-Layer Security in Wireless Networks
In this work, we consider the use of buffer-aided relays, linear precoding techniques and multiple antennas for physical-layer security in wireless networks. We develop relay selection algorithms to improve the secrecy-rate performance of cooperative multi-user multiple-antenna wireless networks. In particular, we propose a novel finite buffer-aided relay selection algorithm that employs the ma...
